We began working with Aqua Clear Pools and Brendan a few months ago.  Before draining our in-ground hot tub (7'x10') several years ago, we used another pool cleaning company.  We encountered so many issues with that previous company, my husband and I wanted to find a new company to take care of our newly remodeled hot tub and our brand new pool.

I researched several pool companies, both online and from friends who have pools, and I found the reviews, service, and price offered by Aqua Clear Pools to be the best. 

We contacted Brendan months before our pool was completed and he talked us through everything we needed to know about our new pool and its care and maintenance. 

When my old pool company used to come out and clean our pool, it usually took them about 20 minutes.  They did the chemicals (usually incorrectly) and skimmed the pool.  Brendan and his workers service our pool anywhere from 45-60 minutes.  They adjust the chemicals, they skim, they vacuum, they check all the systems, etc.  They do an AMAZING job!!!  Our pool is literally sparkling when they leave.  

The service and prices offered by Aqua Clear are the best I've seen in the Mission/McAllen/Edinburg area.

I also wanted to comment on the customer service.  Anytime I have a question about our pool, I can call Brendan, and he either answers immediately or gets back to me within the hour.  Wonderful customer service.  He never makes me feel like I'm being a bother.

I also like than Brendan and his employees don't ever try to push products or services we don't need.  When our pool and hot tub were completed, Brendan explained to me that for the first two weeks, they'd probably need to come out twice a week because of the "shedding" plaster dust.  Brendan later explained to me that in fact they had only had to come out 3 times (instead of 4) since the plaster has stopped shedding dust,  resulting in a lower bill for us.  That was awesome!

I HIGHLY recommend Aqua Clear Pools!!!  They have been amazing to work with and have made owning a pool for us completely worry-free!

I had three different quotes for my pool to be plastered. Aqua Clear was the last quote. Brendan set an appointment and even verified that morning before scheduled time. Our swimming pool is to my husband as the furnace was to the dad in "a Christmas Story"...my normally callm, sweet tempered husband turned into a cranky man with a foul mouth when anything had to be done to the pool.... I love to spend time in our backyard and spend a lot of time in the pool.... 

Our water bill was going through the roof at over $190 a month and knew we had a leak somewhere... so, I found Aqua Clear on Angie's List... Brendan Hall came out and gave us an estimate to find and fix the leaks... and on re-plastering our sad looking pool.... the work was done quickly and with tolerance of our two 'protective' small dogs... the leaks were found and repaired on one day, then they drained the pool, sandblasted the bottom and steps, then replastered it... the guys suggested some pretty blue tiles on the steps so they would be more visible and included them at no additional charge... the pool light that wasn't working for a long time was repaired and ... VOILA'... my pool looks brand new, doesn't leak... and has been inviting me to jump in ever since Christmas...now Spring is here in South Texas, and I'm looking forward to my first "Pool Day" of the year... 

Brendan was awesome, and very patient with my worried husband....and we are completely satisified with the results... Aqua Clear does our pool maintenance now, so my sweet-tempered husband doesn't have to lift a finger for anything... the water is clean and clear all the time...the mechanics are working in excellent order... all he has to do now is join me for a swim... Thanks Brendan and company...

The nice thing was that he was here when he emptied the pool and refilled it to make sure all was running correctly. He did not have someone else to do it. We are more than pleased with the completion of that aspect of getting our pool back into useable service again. When the hail storm hit the McAllen area, we were one of those people who had to have a new roof. At this time we were looking for a pool company that would be consistent and not hurt our pocketbook. By the time the new roof had been put on, our pool was in bad shape where the water had to be drained out and refilled.
